RMVBC To Create Veterans Small Business Development Center

Salt Lake City, UT April 29, 2009 - The Rocky Mountain Veterans Business Council has been contracted by the Utah Small Business Development Center to create and operate a VETERANS SBDC in Utah. The Utah SBDC, which is a joint venture of the Governor's Office of Economic Development and the U.S. Small Business Administration, has chosen the RMVBC to reach out to existing Veteran Owned Small Businesses and to Veterans who wish to start a small business. A number of educational courses will be available and offered to assist the Vetrepreneur in creating and expanding their businesses. The effort will be joined by the Utah Department of Veterans Affairs as an active partner. Further information will be forthcoming.

RMVBC Executive Director Honored By SBA

Salt Lake City, UT March 13, 2009 - SBA District Director Stan Nakano announced today that RMVBC Executive Director Jack Climer has been named as "Veteran Small Business Champion Of The Year" for the Rocky Mountain Region. Jack will be honored at a luncheon to be held in Salt Lake City on May 4.The Rocky Mountain Veterans Business Council is a non-profit organization founded by Veterans Trading Company with a mission to assist Vetrepreneurs in the establishment and operation of Veteran Owned Small Businesses.
